Think green! Learn more about recycling

Under the motto "Think Green! Learn more about recycling" and with visits to an educational recycling center and separating installation for packaging waste, Bulecopack and Iskar Regional Administration celebrated the World Recycling Day – March 18.

Special guests on the first visit were Mrs. Lilia Angelova – Koleva - Director of the Planning and Management of Waste Activities Directorate at Sofia Municipality, the Mayor of Iskar District - Mr. Ivaylo Tsekov and Ms. Lorita Radeva, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Ecology at the Sofia Municipal Council.

During the initiative, which took place from 20.03 to 23.03, students from all schools in the Iskar district had the opportunity to learn more about separate collection, recycling and to see closely the separation process of separately collected packaging waste in two-color containers. 

We would like to thank the students and teachers of 108 Secondary School "Nikola Belovezhdov", 4 Primary School "Prof. John Atanasov", 69 "Dimitar Marinov" Secondary School and 89 Primary School "Dr. Hristo Stambolski" that with such a desire they joined the initiative "Think Green! Learn more about recycling" and thus showed their responsible attitude to separate collection and recycling as a way to protect the environment.
