Dozens of residents of Iskar region - Sofia Municipality joined the campaign for separate collection of packaging waste "For a clean environment", which Bulecopack and Sofia Municipality - Iskar District held on May 14 in the parking lot of the House of Culture "Iskar" .

The checkpoint was opened by the municipal councilor from the Iskar region and chairman of the Standing Committee on Ecology at the Sofia Municipal Council Lorita Radeva and by the mayor of the Iskar region Ivaylo Tsekov. They also contributed to the campaign by leaving plastic caps and packaging waste.

Alumni of the 96th kindergarten "Rosna Kitka" and students of the 108th Sofia University "Nikola Belovezhdov" also took part. They sent separately collected waste, which was brought by their teachers.

We thank all the residents of the area who came and brought their separately collected packaging waste.

With their active participation, they all expressed their "green" position and desire to reduce packaging waste and left their personal contribution to environmental protection.

Everyone who participates in the separate collection campaign receives incentive prizes and participates in a raffle for great prizes.

The winners were drawn by Ms. Radeva, who is also the author of a number of environmental initiatives in the Iskar region. The big prize - a bicycle, was won by Ivanka Shalamanova. The draw set a smartwatch for Parvan Rakhtaliev, and the last one drawn was Margarita Sultanova, whose prize is wireless headphones.

The main goal of the campaigns for separate collection of packaging waste, organized by Bulecopack, is to draw public attention to pollution with this waste, to form a responsible attitude towards nature and the world around us and to build public awareness of its protection.

We thank the Iskar District Administration for its assistance in organizing the Clean Environment Campaign and for its great desire to support all initiatives related to promoting the benefits of separate waste collection.
